mowing corn

It wasn't nice enough for a photo shoot yesterday (rained). I was hoping to have at least one cute photo of my husband and me hanging out in the fields and was pretty disappointed when it didn't happen.

Today was sunny however, so farmers all over the mid-west (including my in-laws) are continuing their mad-dash harvest season. After almost 10 years, I'm still a bit green about the farming lingo, but I can identify fields (corn or beans - I'm totally a pro) and I know there is a tractor in the picture above.

Sugar beats - now those are still a question mark.
