weekend projects

This is the project I started at my parents' house a few weeks ago...

Cutting 80 mitered edges with a chop-saw (my favorite power tool by far)...

Yesterday I was able to assemble them into frames with my trusty staple/nail gun (pretty high up the list)...

And hopefully today I'll get them up on the wall in time for the sunshine.

Also on my list this weekend:
-Pillows of the eye and head variety
-Cleaning house
-Celebrating at the annual Octoberfest
-Farmer's Market
-Baking
-Practicing for the great chili cook-off
-Planning for a Halloween! I'm in charge of our neighborhood party this year AND I have a great costume to work on. My favorite holiday by far.
