Tomorrow night at the Minneapolis Modern Quilt Guild we are learning about hexagon quilts from one of the members. She was making one at a meeting and it was so great! It was right before our trip out west, so I jumped ahead a bit and started my own hand-sewn project during our drives. They are loads of fun to make and I have a box of vintage browns and oranges already cut into 3" squares.
