I just visited this new studio in south Minneapolis over the weekend. Sewtropolis is hosting a Help for Haiti sewing bee which I think is really inspirational. I did mention that I wanted to do some charity quilts in January (what? it's not January anymore?), and this seems like a good outlet for donations right now.
I will be skiing in the mountains, so I won't make the sewing bee, but plan on donating before she sends the packages out. We all need to do our part to be good neighbors, sometimes we just need to find the right calling.
If you can help out - I can drop off. Or if you are in the area, stop by - it's a really cozy shop with a friendly puppy!
