I'm painting this weekend - the walls in half of our main level are now "Twilight Gray". I can already feel the difference in the lighting and the feel of the place. While the yellow was nice and buttery, and the light coming through the stairwell created a magic glow, the gray feels fresh, calming and warm. (I like warm gray even more than I like taupe).
The change has catapulted my creative juices in the home decor category, and I suddenly have a need to update all sorts of things. More to come in the next few days - some are projects, some just rearranging and gathering collections. I can't wait.
